Parking Nightmare

The complex looks visually appealing, but there are definitely corners that were cut to save costs and they try to nickel and dime you for everything. The staff is nice, but they are focussed on moving new units and not overly concerned with current residents.
Parking is an absolute nightmare. There are never enough spots available in the complex. We live on the east side of the complex and regularly must park on the hill outside of the complex because of a lack of parking. The staff tried to correct the problem by assigning permits and towing anyone who did not have a permit. The towing company charges $300 to give you your car back. This will surely cause a problem for your visitors or yourself if you loan the permit to a friend and forget to put it back.
There is a fee for everything here. Your rent covers only the unit itself. Water and sewer are extra on you as well as all other utilities. You receive no parking with your unit and must pay $$$ to get an assigned spot. This is definitely a very expensive place to live when the all-in-cost is considered. Whether it is worth it is very debatable.
We regularly find fixtures that have broken and the insulation is terrible. Our heating bill for our 1 bedroom apartment was $130 and the thermostat was set at 75. The small baseboard heater was always on due to what I assume must be substandard insulation.

Realize that this complex is all about presentation, so dig into the facts and dont be fooled by the very professional sales pitch. Plan on paying 30% more for utilities and services that aren't included in the basic rent amount, but may be included at other complexes (Water, Sewer, Garbage, Parking, Electricity, Cable).
