I was really happy there

Years at this apartment: 1998 - 1999
I lived here in 1998 / 1999 & hated moving away.
The lobby is great and makes you feel good about living there - especially if you bring over a date. The staff was really nice. It s a pricey building, but the staff seemed to be better than most apartment complexes. The place has a highbrow feel. I loved the large windows I had overlooking the parks on SW 4th. The building was quiet & my apartment had AC (I m guessing that they all do). If you get an apartment on a higher floor, there are some really nice views to be had.
Overall, I was really happy at The Essex House (they really shouldn t have renamed it "Oakwood"). I moved out of town - otherwise, I d still be there.
