Great Location and Nice Staff

I moved to the Oakwood last year, and have been living here for several months. It is a very, very nice apartment building, very convenient to downtown (2 mintue walk to City Hall, Saks 5th Avenue, Safeway, the river) and the staff are wonderful. The drawbacks are the closets size (small), the lax security, the size/cost of the apartments (small and somewhat expensive, although its what the Portland market will bear), and the lack of W/D in the one bedroom units (although I've never had to wait for a washer or dryer....I sometimes wonder if anyone else uses it since its always available). My apartment only has one neighbor, so it is quiet. The staff really make it worthwhile. They're terrific. Problems are addressed the same day, or within a day.
