Be forewarned, don't say you never heard it: the manager of the building is completely psychotic. I've never had a manager who has shared more personal and inappropriate remarks regarding other tenants until I've lived her before. Not to mention her nasty personal life, she definitely brings her drama to work. When I moved out, I barely got any of my refundable deposit back and that was AFTER my boyfriend and I spent an entire weekend cleaning it!!! It was cleaner than when we moved in! Spend your money elsewhere and get a better deal is my take! Oh yeah, did I mention the courtyard they advertise is FILLED with DOGSHIT'! Amenity' Please, I'd rather not have it.

I just moved out and also had a large chunk of my deposit withheld, despite leaving the place in excellent condition. I am considering suing in small claims court. (Oregon Landlord Tenant law allows you to sue for twice the amount withheld, and you have up to a year to do so.) If you are interested, please contact me at astor68@hotmail.com.

absolutely! I argued with the woman for months to get a bill for the cleaning that she said was required to clean my"filthy" apartment. All I got was a handwriten 5th Ave. one. She is required to give me one from the actual company who completed the work. Save for vacuuming my apartment was spotless. I wish I had a tape of her yelling at me on the phone about it!
