This place is a great deal in the greater Portland area and a good alternative to downtown city living. The rent is reasonable to compariable places in the area. The apartment itself is great, stainless steel appliances, maple cabinetry throughout, large spacious layouts, own washer and dryer, deck, and large picture windows. Oh, also you can get color walls. Maintenance has been jolly on the spot. The workout room and hottub are great as well as the village across the street with Starbucks, meat/wine, dry cleaners, post office, pasteries, dentist, etc. The neighborhood events like the summer concert series, bbq, etc are good too. The only downside to moving in (online it stated they would do a free month's worth of rent and they didn't) and parking is tight. Although you are guaranteed one spot per apartment, you might have to go on a wait list for a very long time before actually being assigned a spot. I moved in on July 14th and am still waiting and it is Sept. Also, massive turnover with the staff at the management office, but that has created no problems. Also wanted to mention that from the apartment complex to NW 23rd St and Pearl District is a 15 minute drive up and over the hill, through Forest Park on NW Cornell that then turns into NW Lovejoy.
