Although it could be much worse, there are a few caveats to keep an eye out for if you are looking at this complex.
First, they are one of the only complexes I have found in the area that actually charge for water, so when comparing their rent to other complexes, make sure you add $25/mo! Second, I hope you like Comcast - the complex gets a kickback when they refer a new resident to the Comcast salesperson living on site, and the management will hammer you endlessly to sign up with them. They went so far as to have their 'contractors' (oh yes, they don't have any dedicated maintenance staff) sabotage the phone lines in my unit so that I had to pay Qwest $90 to fix them for phone/dsl. Additionally, the rules against satellite dishes are so strict, it's not likely you'll be able to get one of those, either. Laundry facilities are incredibly sparse - a single w/d per floor per building. Don't let them fool you into thinking there are w/d hookups in the large 1brs - there are not. Finally, ANTS ANTS ANTS! I keep my apartment spotless and they still come marching in from some unknown hole in the wall. Overall, GHW is an acceptable place to 'live' for a few months while you look for something better.
