The fact that the apartments are roomy is, quite sadly, overshadowed by a number of other factors. On the second night that we were here, our car was broken into. When reported to the office staff, with the thought that they might pass this along in the apartment newsletter, the response was instead "So' I can't do anything about it". This, needless to say, was not the desired response.
Next, we tried to hang up a towel. This failed dramatically, as the towel hanging rod fell off of the wall. We managed to contact the office, and a few days later the rod was reaffixed.
When we attempted to do our laundry, we discovered that the drier in our apartment was so loud that it could be heard outside of the building. Five hours later, our ears told us that something else was amiss - we could still hear it, even though we had only started one load... the timer did not advance. A couple of months after that, the heating device in the drier broke. After at least ten attempts to report this to the office staff who were not in the office during office hours, we finally made contact.. Which is not to say that the drier has been serviced.
In the meantime, one day I went to take a shower, and noticed an unusually large amount of water shooting out of the side of the shower head. Soon after, the entire head fell off. Bad. News.
In conclusion: The apartment is full of stuff which only seems to break, and the staff are far from helpful.
