Mold! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/20/2004 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003   I hated nearly every minute while I lived at Golf Creek! When we were looking for an apartment, they seemed nice enough and were close to things, but I should have left right away when they wouldn't let us see the apartment we were going to rent prior to signing the lease! No one in the management office told us we would be in a lower-level apartment (one flight down from ground level). There was no sunlight, no ventilation, and mold grew like wildfire. We complained NUMEROUS times about the mold and the terrible smell it was leaving, no one would do anything about it, and paint was starting to chip off on the windows and in the bathroom where they had painted over the mold before we moved in. After the water heater sprung a leak and we had a mouse, I counted the days until I could move out. Please don't move here!! When we moved out there were actually going to charge us for cleaning up the mold and rusty carpets from the water heater!!
