I first moved to Golf Creek in December of 2001. I had a great middle floor two bedroom with a roommate. It was a great place to live! I moved away in May of 2003, but when returning to Portland in August of 2003 immediately called Golf Creek. When I lived here before the whole staff was great and called my roommate and I by name. When I moved back much of the same staff was there and remembered me. I got a great top floor one bedroom with vaulted ceilings - everything was great!
BUT things have changed for the worse.
I hardly see any of the gals I used to know - one changed properties and the other im not sure of, but the new people are just not nice! they are not awful, but certainly don't make it a pleasure to talk to - like the gals that used to be there. The very worst thing that has happened is that they put a note on my door with my fiance's full name on it in plain view. I think that is against the law! Definitely against common courtesy. Leasing staff is not supposed to let anyone know under any circumstances the names and locations of residents. The other problem with that is that the note was a birthday card from the staff to my fiance, and a month later on my birthday I received nothing!
I am very disappointed in the staff, but overall I have had a good experience with the property. The maintenance has been good too. I pay for a covered parking spot, so really dont have a problem with parking.
Its a good location too! Close to downtown, but not too close. The only thing bad about the location is not a gas station for quite a distance.
