I just recently moved to Portland. I talked to the staff (Kelly) on the phone and she sounded nice and she answered my questions by inputing information about the complex. But when I drove 2.5 hours to see the units her demeanor changed and she informed me that she did not have the unit available for me to see at that time. She seemed very cold, didn't go into detail as before, her answers were mostly yes/no while viewing one of the models. I figure I should give her the benefit of the doubt, but noticing the rest of the caucasian staff joyfully interacting with other caucasians perspective tenants when they were also very cold with me, I felt that I being of a minority did not feel comfortably welcome. Again I cannot point the finger of racism or predijuce but then again I don't need someone to tell me to F off to know when I am not wanted. I found a nicer place thank god.
