Look elsewhere From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/25/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   I rented a 3-bedroom with 2 other roommates. At first, our unit seemed great, but we had a lot of problems. First we had a problem with carpenter ants, which took several phone calls and maintenance visits to get resolved. We had a leaky dishwasher which they "fixed" several times, but it always continued to leak. Parking was horrible, there were times there was not a single open spot in the entire complex. Our apartment was two levels and one was below ground...we had a mold problem from day one (we moved in during the summer!) and it never got better. Our entire apartment smelled like mildew, and my roommate had mold grow on her backpack stored under her bed, and in her bathroom on the floor. Maintenance said it was probably because we didn't turn on the fans (we did!). The office staff was very rude and I hated dealing with them. Also, when we asked to move into a new unit beacause of the mold/smells, they said we would have to sign a new lease and pay a new security deposit. When we moved out, we lost our deposit for "dirty carpets," which were pretty clean.
