Brown 20 year old microwaves! The height of luxury. Ha ha. The appliances must be about 20 years old. It will sound like a rocket launching when you wash your clothes in the antique washing machine. Wait until you see the inside of your luxury kitchen cabinets. Ha ha ha. The food, mold, and grease stained particle board will truly impress you!

The heating system does not work well, even though it costs a lot more to heat this apartment than others in this area I've rented. The windows are thin and let in lots of cold air, which is part of the problem.

There is a bug and mold problem. The ventilation in the bathrooms doesn't work well. The bathrooms and all the poor quality windows are where mold is a problem. Bugs come in though the gaps in the front door and windows in the warm months. People who say mold and bugs aren't a problem most likely haven't lived here through all the seasons.

The electrical wiring is backwards in some rooms of the apartment and most rooms do not have an overhead light.

Good luck with parking. You will need a lucky charm or a wish granting genie in a bottle if you want to park at night.

So, if you still want to move into these so called luxury apartments, now you will at least know what to expect.

I very much agree with this review and I've lived here for 3 months. Parking is bad, heating is expensive due to crappy windows, bad air circulation in bathrooms, cheap cupboards, old appliances. Despite this, I would give this apartment an overall okay review, maybe not the most luxurious, but its a bit cheaper than surrounding apartments. Breckenridge wants $825 for a one bedroom and Sunset Summit wants $915, how ridiculous!! Golf creek wants $775-905, so still pretty pricey. If your looking for cheaper you should check out the Cedar Mill area, a bit farther down Barnes Road, but much more affordable.
