Evil Place to Live

DO NOT RENT HERE. I left this slumlord's place earlier this year and good riddance. The noise is unbearable from the 8 bus going by.
The walls seep moisture when it rains (which is a lot in Oregon). I had a leak from the wall when it was raining that was so bad that it spouted like a urine stream. I mentioned it to the landlady who didn't seem to give a damn about it.
I had black mold growing up the walls so bad that not even bleach and tri-sodium phosphate could eradicate.
There was always a blue-gray haze in the living room, which I had no earthly clue where it was coming from as no one smoked.
When I was finally able to get out of the dump, my friend who helped me move was shocked at the condition I was living in and stated, "this is a place where people go to die".
Yes, the other writers are correct when they are talking about the electrical difficulties. This dump reminded me of the movie Poltergeist, when lights would constantly pop and your electronics would malfunction when they did work.
Yes, you do have to pay for parking, but it is not as bad as others would have you think.
The laundry room was a joke. What would normally take a hour and 1/2 to do a load would take 3 hours because the water barely trickled into the washer. I used a laundramat very soon as my clothes never got clean.
Rent from this place at your own risk - you have been warned.
