I lived at Grandview for almost 2 years, and I must say I truly enjoyed the building, the tentants, the location, and the manager... all for a reasonable price. It's one of the only places in the city that offers real downtown living for people who don't make six figures a year.
Christopher Perry, the manager, is by far the best apartment manager I have ever had, and I've lived in 14 different apartments (yes I am a nomad) in the Portland area over the last 10 years. I never had to wait for any repairs, they were all done immediately, and he kept the building in tip top shape. The units are spacious and the tenants were freindly. :) I made a few freinds in the building actually. The only reason I left is because I bought a house. I will miss it.
Thank you Christopher, for making my time living downtown such a positive experience. Why doesn't the management company give you a fatty raise'' I would.
