Nice place, but be ready to spend $$

This building is great, IF you have a unit on the outside of the U shaped building. If you are on the inside, expect to hear everything from the surrounding apts. The building is constantly under maintenance (it was built in 1931) and the water is shut off quite often. You can't send outgoing mail, you must walk to the post office. There are also lots of hidden costs on top of your rent (ex: $650 advertised price comes out to about $730 depending on elec. use)
The location is incredible, but for the price you pay, there is quite a bit of inconvenience along with it. The building has nice historic details, clean interiors, and amazing views (on the outside of the U)
I would only recommend this place if you were to get a unit on the outside, or if you have some $ to throw around.
