The heat in Jeanne Manor has not worked since 12/25/08. The management has known this. There is not any communication about this unless you call and harass the manager. Finally a sign was put up a few days ago: 'thank you for your patience, blah, blah, blah.' There has been no offer to provide heaters or to reduce/waive the fee for heat during this time. In fact, KBC decided, in the middle of a recession, to raise both rent AND heat, even though we are not actually getting any heat, by definition FRAUD. I'm leaving ASAP because I am TIRED of being cold and paying for it. Oh, did I mention you have to take lukewarm showers too' Not worth the hassle anymore.

I'm being priced out too. In three years my rent has increased over $250.!!! We pay for heat even in the summer when it's not turned on at all! I have to use my space heater ALL THE TIME. Heat and water are always being turned off. Also there's No PARKING so I have to pay an additional $200 for lot parking a block away!
