At first I wrote a review praising the maintenance after i had great help trying to wire a light.

But when I asked for screens put on the windows and specified they should be so loose as to fall out the window- I got screens that had an inch gap at the top and were hammered in to fit. And I've spent an entire day waiting for maintenance to fix my dishwasher. The staff likes to blame everything on someone new on the phones, or "I didn't get the message" or "We are just SO busy!"

I complained, and was told if there was a problem, they could take them out and my apartment had a drywall problem so the custom screens don't fit. Her solution' To take them out.

I really dislike this apartment. We have a view of the park, which means every time there is a concert or event, terrible (think dentist office) music is blasted in my apartment. Leaf blowers and other loud equipment starts around 7:40 am. The AC is in the living room, on the ceiling. We only had to use it a few days because Portland's not that hot. A building this new should have been planned better.

I was excited to live in the Pearl district and I hate it now. I keep meeting people who used to live in my building- they have the same complaints- too expensive, cheap apartment, loud, weird neighbors. NO ONE lives here more than one year.

There have been break ins in the parking garage. I pay $100 a month for a parking place, and sometimes there's a monster truck parked next to me in the compact space. Sometimes there's a car in MY space. People leave trash in the parking garage in boxes, and the gate to the courtyard is usually broken.

Kearney Plaza snags people from out of town or people needing a place to stay while their loft is being completed.
