King Tower is definitely one of the better apartment experiences that I have ever had. The location in NW Portland was excellent. The rooftop with city view was also a nice added bonus to this place. My apartment was somewhat on the small side for the price I was paying. However, it was cheaper then any comprable high-rise apartments that I looked at in downtown Portland.

My only complaints were that the kitchen was on the tiny side and the workout room (if you could call it that) sucked. Moving was somewhat of a pain too since King Tower is purched on a hill. There is no guest parking here and street parking in NW is at a premium.

However, this place is mainly about the location and downtown PDX is at your doorstep if you choose to live here. I don't know if they still offer it, but the month to month lease option was also rather helpful for me. The building is secured with a key card system and intercom at the front door. The office staff was wonderful and the place was clean and full of friendly tennants.
