Sadly it seems there are a lot of bitter posts on here. As is usually the case in life people let one bad incident taint them and those are the people motivated to write posts. Alas I am here to give you the scoop on King Tower. What more could you want in an apartment' I'm a 5 minute walk from three grocery stores, Zupans, Fred Myers and Trader Joe's. There are three max stops within stumbling distance not to mention a handful of bus lines. They have a parking garage but I opted to try the street for like $30/year and have yet to spend more than 3 minutes to find a spot at any hour. As for the complex it's a diverse eclectic group of people, who always hold the elevator or the door for you. When I don't have time to make coffee in the morning I just fill up with the surprisingly high quality Joe made for me downstairs. When I feel like a breath of fresh air I head to the rooftop patio to take in the best city view in town. Occasionally even grill up a cut of salmon on the complimentary grills. Their recycling program is top notch for you greenies, and I can't say enough about the staff. I had to get the apartment while working abroad in the Philippines. No matter how many calls I made to poor Thomas he blew off my apologies and was glad to assist. And anytime I pop into the office I've never been let down. Great onsite storage, stuff gets fixed right away, security at night and a stones throw from downtown, 21st, 23rd or the Pearl. Location, reasonable rent and dependable service, and utilities included (one less worry).
