The apparent differences in tenant opinion on this one likely stem from the fact that the management company was replaced around fall of 2005. Now the same management company that runs Wimbledon Square is running Lambert Gardens; they are contiguous.

The Wimbledon Square review speaks for itself. And everytime someone says how big it is with inadequate facilities- 2 square blocks, 1 dumpster- it is even bigger now, with Lambert!

They do warn you. The ballons and lollipops on the sign are because the place sucks and blows.

Lambert Gardens is now renamed Wimbledon Gardens. Princeton Property Management are using the ground to sell Wimbledon Square. You know all those "They Lie!" reviews? You can prove it yourself. Go to the Wimbledon Square review and look at the three pictures of the property. Those pictures used to be acccurate. Now, the last two are of Lambert Gardens. After they aquired the managment of the property, one of their staff consciously took photos of it, and replaced the Wimbledon Square images. Their website still has the correct images. That's just how they do things. Commit the fraud on someone else's website. The one pict of WS is historical. It's the building that burned in the 1960s and was semi-rebuilt. The takehome lesson is that there are lots of kinds of apartment managment, from abysmal to stellar. I try to never attribute to maliciousness what can be accounted for by stupidity. PPM have convinced me that they are engaged proudly in their work of lieing, cheating and stealing. If you want to get inside their heads, imagine someone that would actually enjoy watching old melodramas of evil landlords tieing damsels to train tracks at their annual xmas party. I have a friend that is a no-nonsense manager for a middle of the road company and she worries that her time as a manager for PPM have irreparably damaged her karma. If you ever saw the look on her face when she's had one too many and starts thinking about being a Princeton Property manager, and that "I can't believe the things we actually did to real people" she comes out with, you would realize that these are not just bad landlords, they are truly people to be feared on every level. How would you feel/what would be going through your mind if you stopped at a bad intersection and went into the shadows with the local drug dealer to make a score? That's exactly how you should be thinking if you walk into that management office. The Horror lives at Wimbledon Gardens/Square/Court, etc.
