So sorry to be leaving

We have been tenants here since it opened about two years ago. We are happy to be returning to our home on the east coast but sad to be leaving Lovejoy Station. Our friends and neighbors here have been wonderful and the staff is exceptional. The
Pearl District offers many special accents...the streetcar comes to our front door, the culture, the parks, the shops..all
come together to make a special community.
The post about the fire is incorrect. There was an emergency. All the tenants appreciated the quick response of the Portland Fire Department and the Lovejoy staff. The staff was so attentive to the tenants needs. The fire doors were reopened..I saw them doing so. This post is being written on 12/03/03 for some reason each time I write this it posts as 7/27/03.
My daughter Annastasia and I will miss you all.
