I can't find evidence of any insulation whatsoever in this building. Almost as cold inside (in winter) as outside. My smoke alarm beeped that the battery was low, so I pulled it down, and the cold air just hit me like a blast from my freezer. Rushed to the hardware for some basic insulation to plug that plus leaks in switch plates and windows. My friend around the corner has no heat at all today (puny little heaters totally inadequate for a studio, but for a larger apt. it's really a joke). People must get space heaters here, and we all know how dangerous they are.
Something has to be done - time for a tenants meeting.
