Lovejoy Station

I lived here for a year and a half, and while it was mostly a decent experience, there are certain factors a potential occupant should consider:
- Some people get very picky about noise levels (especially if you have elderly people under you who have never lived in an apartment before...they come to bang on your door instead of going to management to complain!)
-The security is not first-rate either - I have had to ride the elevator with a mentally disturbed person off the street who got in the building somehow - not cool!
- The current management is terrible. Not to name names, but he has already been mentioned in previous reviews. When asked whether there was a possibility of extending our lease and getting a month free (we'd been diligent, well-behaved occupants) he ended up telling us rudely that he could rent out our apt the next day, as if daring us to leave. This place has no clue that keeping occupants should be a priority, instead they WANT turnover. So we left. Complaining afterwards (finally managed to speak to a real live person at Bowen) seemingly did nothing, either. All in all, this place is handled very unprofessionally for what you'd expect. While we were there we went through at least 10 different leasing agents - this leaves a bad impression for occupants. How can this go on in the Pearl of all places!? It's stark contrast to the management at our current apartment (at Buckman, handled by Summit), which is always polite, friendly, timely and concerned with the satisfaction of their occupants - as it should be.
