Downtown and river living (pretty cool)

Lived here a few years ago. It?s $$$$ but you are right next to downtown, the river, the pearl district, a running path (waterfront running path 4.0 miles) and the apartment has a little style (lots of light). If you?re young or single it?s a great pad to use as your base. There was noise from the trains and boats but not so that I couldn?t sleep. I lived next to a busy street after I moved and that was way worse! The view of the river and the big ships as they unload is really wonderful. I never used any of the clubhouse stuff and I don?t think any one really ever does (don?t move here for that). Personally I would spend a little less and live in a studio uptown but only because of $ not because of a bad experience.
