Before you decide to live here, consider what is important to you. While the condo itself is nice (newly remodeled & new appliances), there are MANY downfalls. Parking is a mess. Neighbors are loud and inconsiderate; leaving trash, cigarette butts, and dog feces all over the grounds. Since the units are all individually owned now, there is nobody to complain to (HOA is incompetent at best) about the numerous problems. We had a flood in our kitchen caused by a drain backup, and were unable to use our kithcen or laundry for 2 1/2 days while our landlord argued with the HOA over who was responsible. Then there is the train... Personally, I am not disturbed by the noise, but have been stuck on my way to work/school too many times to count, typically for 30-45 minutes (sometimes longer) because the trains stop on the tracks.
So, for the price, it is NOT WORTH IT, I promise. Now it seems the owners are charging even more for rent because they are losing money (low occupancy rate).
If location and amenities are all you care about, then this may be a good place for you. But if you want hassel-free living or at least your money's worth, look elsewhere.
