All these negative comments on this site are TRUE. I've been residing here since last year and it is the ghetto. Too bad I never found out about this site when I first looked for apartments. I've never lived in such a dump. Almost nothing but low-lives and possibly a couple of decent human beings, just trying to have a peaceful life (like myself) that got stuck in Clackamas' rendition of hell. Noisy neighbors have no respect for anyone living under them. They act like this is their jungle. I go to Jill, the manager, and all she says is "Wear some earplugs." I'm not joking this is actually what she said to me!! Even after I explained to her this is excessive noise. Well Jill why don't you actually do your job--and read the LEASE. She does not take any action when tenants are violating terms of the lease--(example: noise disturbances at ALL HOURS--not just night.) She needs to actually READ the whole lease!! Worst apartment manager I've ever dealt with. All she cares about is the rent at the 1st of each month. She doesn't care about anyones problems and acts like she knows the laws when she does not. She is a joke!!! About 3 weeks ago a man (that just moved in) came running out of his apartment BARE NAKED. He punched a few cars, then ran to the apartment office and proceeded to pull out plants then ran back to his apt. This was during daylight around 3pm when annoying unsupervised kids were outside. Several cop cars, ambulance and whomever else showed up and he was taken away on a stretcher. Does this sound like a safe environment'''' The parking is ridiculous. If you don't get here by 8pm you have to park on the street. Why even allow 2 cars per apartment when there is no space''' Plus, many unused handicap spaces which are vacated litter the lot with empty use. Routine domestic abuse was common. The people were fighting at all hours and the cops are always here. Unsupervised kids, sometimes in groups, litter the parking lot. They will randomly come into my building and just hang out, run up & down the stairs and just make lots of noise. You go outside to tell them to be quite and they just give you dirty looks. You always see shady people walking around the parking lot day and night. Grown men getting into arguments in the daylight. False Advertising as well. When I moved in there was suppose to be all new excercise equipment in the 1st recreation center within a month. But, many many months later and no the same old junk is still sitting in there to this day. And still no gated community as promised when I signed the lease. The gate on Monterrey is NEVER closed. They need to list the FACTS. This has been a total nightmare living here. I'm getting out of here as soon as my lease is up and I suggest you not to make a huge mistake. There are so many other apartments out there that are 100% better. Just check for other apartments on this site that have good comments and go check them out in person. The Wellington Springs SUCK!!!! DON'T MOVE HERE!!!!!!
