I would never rent here again..... From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/2/2007 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005   I lived here for almost 2 years. I have never lived at a more incompetent apartment complex as I did with this one. I am a very quiet person. I lived in a 1 bedroom unit there. Most of my neighbors, in my building, were quiet when I first moved there. My building was the building with 1 bedroom units. Then, they started trying to fill the complex and it seemed like they were taking just about anyone. I would be woke up at 2am from my neighbor blasting her music. The worst part would be that she lived across the hall from me. Our units weren't even attached and I would still get woken up. I would call the police and then notify the apartments. In just a few months time I had to call the police 7 times!!! Each and every time I would notify the managers. The ONLY time they would even call me back is if I would fax them a letter. They never returned my calls. They never evicted my neighbor. I finally decided to move out. I could never find a parking space. They would never assign spots. I would have to park down by the office and walk the entire length of the complex (which this place is huge) just to get a spot. It was very dangerous as I would sometimes have to do it at night. The lighting was horrible in this place at night and we would have to often go a week before light bulbs in the outside fixtures would be replaced. When I first moved in, they failed to give me a parking sticker. They asked me for my info on my car, which I gave but forgot to give me the sticker. The following morning I woke up and my car was gone. My car had been towed. Yes, they contacted the tow company and got my car released and apologized. But I had to miss a day of work and figure out a ride to North Portland to get my car out of the tow yard!!! I was never even compensated for it. They made promises they didn't keep. For instance, when I first moved in, they said that they would be fencing in the entire property and only allowing tenants with a special card access to the property unless we "buzz" someone in. It never happened. They put a fence around the property but for a period of a year they went back and forth on whether or not they were going to do the card access. The main reason I had moved in there was for the gated community. They also said they would be having assigned parking. That never happened. They were suppose to fill in half of the lake and make it a playground for the kids. That never happened. My building, apparently, was built on top of an ant hill. They would have to come out and spray for ants constantly. The ants never went away. I was on the 3rd floor and they were still that bad. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Friend or otherwise. I mean, in the last 4 years or so they have had like 3 or 4 owners. It seems that this place is destined for failure.
