we were there for 9 months and the problems started at the lease signing. they told us they could work with us on our rent due date. (my fiance's paycheck always arrived one- two days late.) after signing the lease they told us that they never said such a thing.we ended up with a couple late fee's of course. the interior of the apt. looks fine but it is cheap. the carpets stained instantly, the counters stained from my dish soap, the folding door to the washer/dryer broke the first week, and to top it all off, no maintenence ever came to fix anything the entire time. with the exception of the leak in the bedroom ceiling.
as for parking, there is no assigned, we were lucky not to get broken into like everyother car parked around us. as for safety, in the 9 months we were there we had 2 shootings inside the complex, 1 large fight in the parking lot in front of our place, and 4 attempted break in's! all tried to pry off our sliding door because there are no locks or precautions, not even the old stick in the window trick works. (one of the break in's was actually the shooter from one of the aforementioned shootings!!)
also, there was more than one guy who enjoyed going OUTside in the nude to get their mail. infront of children playing in the parking lot mind you, and nothing was done about it.
on the upside, i liked being close to shopping and the bus line. but thats the only positive thing i have to say about the experience.
during the last month or so the new owners took over, i saw no changes and still dont except for the rent and the paint job.
