i have lived here for 3 years now and have seen 2 different managements. i know not every place is going to ammend to every single opinion that i have but diffently not a place to live if you have nice things. you have 2 diff. get renter's insurance because you must remember that you live with 12 other homes in your section and i have lived here for the big fire that 8 people home's were lost. the parking sucks. they give you one spot and if you dont pay the extra 70 bucks a month for a covered area then its like hunting down a spot at IKEA @ summer. more than not you have to park on the street where cars are constantly broken into and dont forget your hiking boots because there is only two ways in at the front or at the back of the complex. the people are rude and drive WAY TOO FAST through the complex. when packages are left at the front desk i can be Joe Schom and get them by telling just an APT# no I.D. no nothing just APT blah blah and okay heres you brand new ____. cant make a peep @ 8 p.m. or the cops will be called, oh and they're here QUITE often. i have to walk prob a block just to throw my trash away and might not sound bad but carry a 20lbs bag that long, every 3 days for a year and tell me thats doesn't suck. maintenance is terrible ( i give them a break with some many apartments 100 ) but still is terrible, have to call and remind to come out for an appointment already schedueled! but other than that a great crappy place. oh and everytime your lease is over they increase the price i guess they dont want you to stay as bad as i dont, but im out of here 4 months and counting! oh yeah the light rail is being built 4 blocks away so enjoy the spike in crime. BUH BYE!

Apparently this "resident" hasn't been living here as long as they say because thier info is way off, if not false!
There was a fire in an apartment building, but only damaged one apartment- not 8. That was a few years ago and it was accidentally caused by a resident. Again...1 apartment, not 8.
We give 2 parking permits to our residents-not 1. There is no guest parking so guests do have to park on the street, but I think that that would be considered a good thing since if you are paying to live here you should have a place to park inside the complex.
As far as car breakins-there hasn't been any within the complex since new management has taken over, and almost 2 years since there was a car breakin anywhere in the neighborhood. (There are public police records to support that).
Packages are never just handed over-you must provide the "package pick up slip" that the mail man provides you in your mailbox when he leaves a package at the office. Again...never just given away by dropping an apartment #.
As far as making noise-it doesn't matter what time of day it is, if you are making a substanial amount of noise (again, no matter what time of day) we're going to ask you to keep it down. (I am sure your neighbors are appreciative.)
We have terrific maintenance and 390 units. Even with a large property, we provide service within 24 hours of submiting a work-order, unless you specify that you want an appointment. In that case we offer appointment "windows" (for example 9am-12pm, or 1pm-3pm, etc.) in order to allow if anything unforseen was to happen. We don't need reminding, they will be there when they say they are.

dear wellington springs employees, i lived there just last year and yes there were many break in's just outside the complex. i saw them and had them. so saying there havent been any in 2 years is a lie. also, you do only get one spot and parking is a nightmare. i almost always parked outside.
regardless of spelling, he/she is right.

ok montereysprings, you are FALSE because i lived here when the fire occurred, where more than 1 unit was burned. There were funding to help the families, plural that didn't have renter's insurance. also i cant imagine the police would want (key word WANT) to investigate a car break in. When they're busy responding to the domestic violence and drug activity here. ok you say there are no reports and to check the OFFICIAL PUBLIC POLICE RECORD, how about you check with any resident here. Not only has there been break-ins but vandalism as well. so tell me whats all the shinny material on 85th st.? Two spots per unit? yea if you pay the monthly charge for the car port. Forgot to mention that part huh? Some of the staff is nice but i don't know who is running the place it seems like a new person in the office every time i go in to pick up packages. About the package pick up, the above person was right. i lost my yellow slip and staff just gave me my package after i told them my apt#. I walked over to the closet with all the other ones that have other apt# BOLDLY PRINTED ON THEM with a sharpie. so doesn't seem like it would take a master mind to get someone else's package. i laugh at the 24 hour service, i don't know about you, but i don't like people in my home with my belongings unsupervised. call me paranoid. The Roach Carts outside the place is a nice touch too. I don't know about the light rail adding to the crime but i wont be around when its running for sure. I already feel like i need to carry a bazooka with me to walk from my car which i have to park outside the complex and pray that it will be have all my windows and stereo in it the next day. i witness a break-in @ 10:00 am a month ago where a guy walked car to car on Causey looking into the windows and opened one and took an i pod out the back seat and walked down the block towards 82nd then turned around and walked into the complex i called the cops but its the norm @ ghetto springs.
