Car Owners Beware

Management has given Retriever Towing company free reign over the parking lot. Retreiver is obviously in it to make as much money as they possibly can off of unsuspecting residents. Beware! My car was towed because the tags had expired by 2 DAYS. I had gone through the DEQ and was waiting for the tags to arrive in the mail. It cost me $222 to get it back.
I recently witnessed Retrievor attempting to tow a brand new car that the tenant had just brought home from the dealership. She had parked it in her own personal covered spot until she got insurance on it and because it didn't have a resident sticker on it, they tried to tow it. The residents had to pay the tow company $100 to not tow their brand new car from their very own reserved parking spot. The previous week her husband's truck was towed, costing them $400. That's $500 worth of towing expenses in a week!
When I spoke to the property management company about changing their policy I was told to "Grow up and be an adult".
It's an obvious scam and honest residents are paying for it dearly. People who would have resigned leases are moving out! I would only recommend Mt. Scott Commons if you ride a horse; unless,of course, they tow the horse.
