My roommate and I lived in this apartment building for two years. The location can't be beat and the apartment itself is decent, but not updated. That is where the pros end.

During our tenancy at the Nob Hill Apartments my roommate's car was totaled by a machine involved in the construction taking place across the street. A crane broke loose and smashed into her parked car and others. This was not the first time tenant's cars were damaged by the construction and the noise was a constant issue.

Upon the expiration of our lease, Nob Hill attempted to charge us our entire deposit for "damage" they say was done to the unit. If anything we left this 1970's, average at best apartment, better then when we moved-in! Our move-out statement accused us of causing damage that was not only already there when we moved-in, and clearly stated on our move-in walk thru, but also of things that didn't exist or should be considered normal wear in tear for a two year tenancy.

After trying to resolve these issues amicably and with reasonable amounts of effort on our part, we were forced to take Nob Hill Apartments and Regency Property Management to small claims for the return of our rightful thousand dollar deposit! Of course they settled without further litigation, assumingly because they knew they had no case to begin with.

All and all the experience was horrible! These are not honest people and obviously are looking to rip people off, expecting you won't put in the effort to fight for your money. I would NEVER live here again and I would NEVER recommend this building to any future tenants.
