When I wrote my first review I gave Pacific Tower 5*s. That's how I felt then. Since then, and up until I moved in latter half of 2006, the place deteriorated considerably.
Maintenance is a serious drawback there. The maintenance personnel don't last long, and some of them aren't good workers. When they get a good worker the poor person is overwhelmed from all the accumulated neglect. The management company tries to get a full time shift while paying for parttime employment.
It's appalling to have witnessed a new and beautiful bldg allowed to turn slummy.
The management has generally been very poor. The mgnt co blames the owner, saying he's too cheap to pay for proper maintenance costs; the owner blames the mgmt co for not keeping the bldg in better shape. I wonder, because if I were the owner, I'd have visited the bldg more often, and seen the deterioration that was in effect long before I heard he had visited and bellowed, "What have you done to my bldg'"
If he had been there anytime within two months before that he'd have seen the neglect.
So, who knows what they're up to.

You need to know that this place is also owned by Bowen Property Management. They are notorious for these income restricted buildings and they are the WORST when it comes to keeping their tennants happy. I lived at the Pearl Court and it was even worse than this place. I advise anyone who tries to rent an apartment anywhere to look and see who the property management is. If it's Bowen, be weary! They are only after the government subsidy and they are even more greedy when it comes to the able body worker who they care even less about.
