Washers and dryers never work properly.
Refunds never given on washers dryers and vending machines.
Neighbors that slam there doors so hard all day and all night that you think the building is going to cave in.
Police are always being called to the building.
Security doors are always broken.
Residents that steel your laundry.
Residents that fight with each other in the hall ways.
Windows dont seal shut so on windy days you can actuially see your blinds sway back and forth. So in the winter, heating a studio can run over 100.00 a month.
Single pain windows dont block out any noise from the street.
Johnson facing apartments have to listen to diesel trucks all night long.
Hot water is rare.
Nothing is ever fixed.
The halls always smell like smoke, drugs or burnt food.
Fire alarms go off all the time for no reason.
I was told that there is a hall monitor that lives in the building, but I have never seen this person. If there is one, problems that are reported at night by residents thru the awnsering service are not taken care of, ever.
The walls are so thin you can hear EVERYTHING inside every apartment.
Complaining to management only leads to more fustration because NOTHING is ever done about ANYTHING.
They suck you in with the nice lobby, but after you sign your lease your on your own.
My entire experience with Pearl Court has been a nightmare.
Now I know why section living has such a bad reputation.
