Whats up with all the door slamming. Does this place have an all day door slamming contest that I was not told about when I moved in. Ever hear of rubber door jams' My cealing and outside door light sounds like its going to rattle off. If its not the door slamming, then its the fire alarm going off. Portland is the smallest city I have ever lived in and Pearl Court has the most noise ever. Worse than N.Y. And the constant kids running up and down the hallways all day and night. It sounds like a herd of elephants on the floor that your on and the floor above you. The homeless trying to get into the building is very scary to me because nobody cares enough when they walk out of the building to make sure the person hanging around outside wanting to get in lives in the building.

I know!! All the ghetto children run around like damn monkeys. I've even seen them in the lobby jumping from chair to chair. The door slamming is very annoying indeed!! And most the time I can't tell the homeless from the trashy tenants that live here.

So true. Sometimes, I almost give in to the peer pressure to just slam the hell out of my door, but then I realize that I'm just not that person. I don't have to do it because everyone is doing it.
