The location's amazing - right next to a great family/dog park and a coffee place, right on the streetcar line, a short walk to Safeway or Powell's or Waterfront Park. The apartments next door cost three quarters of a million, but here, the price's amazing - it's restricted to "low-income" persons, which means if you're single and make under $28,000/year, you get a great studio for $550/month, or a 1BR for $650/month. The interior's nice, too - elevator, nice lounge/couchy area, good cafe sort of paint scheme. They allow small pets for a small one-time fee. Staff's really helpful and friendly. There's $110/month parking if it's available. There's a well-stocked laundry room - like thirty machines, it's crazy, you never have to wait. It's built around a well-kept garden area to which residents have access. Appliances and fixtures are new-ish, and look great.
