We have lived here for about a year and are waiting for the day our lease is up.
We have had so many problems, in so many areas with this complex I was shocked.
1. Sewer Issue: One day, I woke up to the sound of large commercial equipment digging a hole in front of our apartment. We later found out (not from the complex, but a passer by) that they were having pipe issues and needed to do a lot of work to get them fixed. The first, and only time we were informed by the complex was a week later when they were shutting down our water for the entire day (notice was given the night before) It has now been a month and there is still a big hole with caution tape, and the occasional construction truck block my door.
2. fix order response: We've had a few small things need attention, one of which was the garbage disposal, which was seized and filled out kitchen sink with dirty, smelly water. It took three days for someone to come out, then, two days later someone else came to the door saying they "were her for our fix order" The same thing happened with another fix order a month later.
3. Drains & Water: This week it's been raining pretty much nonstop. The drain out in the courtyard was clogged, so a fair amount of water started piling up, so my wife called in and let them know, she was told that no one was around to fix it, and it would be delt with the next day, even though the water was already 3 inchs deep, and spanned more then 100 feet in each direction. Later that night it got so large, and deep that we called the 24hour number, and let them know that it was seeping into our gargage, and that someone needed to come out NOW, before it started distroying the boxes at the back of my garage.... Nothing... My wife called back 10 minutes after the leasing office opened to let them know, the phone went straight to voice mail (like always) She left a message and we waited another 2 hours (11:00AM) and I called back. They told me that they didn't have anyone onsite to fix the issue so they would call someone to come out and fix it. No ETA, the she hadn't even called yet.
4. Dog poop: There is only a few green spots in this complex, and all of them do not have poop bags, this means that literally every inch of green is covered with poop. We called the first week and complained because we could smell the poop in the lawn outside our window, and wanted someone to come pick it up, instead, 5 phone calls later, and a in-person visit, all they would do is put out a letter telling people to "pick up after themselves" We ended up having to pick up other peoples dog poop ourselves because the management would do nothing. The first time we had to do this, there was more then 100 piles of poop in a single 20X20foot portion of grass.
I have lived at a lot of complexes, in different places all over the west coast, and have never, ever had to deal with such unprofessional, dirty, overprices units. Ever.
If you move here you will be sorry.
For 1600 a month you'd expect a bit more.

Amen. Everything said by this reviewer is right on (and he didn't even mention the eternally damaged elevator in the mid-rise). I really can't understand how they are getting away with their ever increasing rents. Is inflation so high that these insane rents can't even pay to appropriately staff and retain the maintenance crew and office? I don't think so. Years ago ReverPlace Square was great, rents were suprisingly reasonable, maintenance and office staff were great, and all of the apartments were filled and with happy residents inside. Now the townhomes that actually have residents (many are vacant) are occupied with folks like this reviewer, who are just waiting for their lease to be up.

I will just come right out and say it....THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! The most recent management team is flat out worthless and VERY annoying to work with. If you just signed a year lease and you are reading this....I feel bad for you.
