I currently live in a one bedroom townhouse in river place square. For the price that I pay, I would expect that it at least be a nice home. Unfortunately, it is old, and the walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbors clearly. Additionally, in my short time here, I have had numerous maintenance issues, one of which resulted in me being locked out overnight! Then I had to pay for the locksmith, because it occurred "after hours". I didn't lock my keys inside either, the mechanism inside the door knob broke, resulting it to lock shut. But the thing that astounds me the most about this place is the ineptitude of the office. Literally, every month that I have lived here, I have paid rent on time, and have been told that I owe more money. Not for any fault of my own, but for charges they neglected to charge me originally, or for simply not depositing my rent check. The customer service is horrible. Overall, for the price you pay I would recommend hoping on to craigslist and finding a condo for rent from an owner. Additionally, there are many buildings in the area that are converting to rentals instead of condos. What ever you do, don't come to Riverplace Square. I will be leaving as soon as I can, and even consider breaking my lease at cost to myself just to be free from this horribly run complex.

You got locked locked out overnight? I would have gone into that office every day and raised hell until they paid for the locksmith.
Three years ago, that office ran pretty well. The staff in their now doesn't seem to really care about anything except how to get more money from their tennants. Even if you call the officers in the corporate office, you still get the same crapy treatment.
If any of you are looking to live at riverplace, turn around and walk away.

I so agree with you about River Place Square. My wife and myself lived there and it was horrourable. I would never recommend it to anyone.
