Nice Place to live- I guess

I am about to complete a six month lease and I am happy to be going. I like the convenience of it being right on the max line but it takes me about 45 minutes to get downtown. The management is okay if not overtly friendly. The "fitness center" is 5 machines on their last breath which barely work- no free weights. I didn't get to try out the pool or hot tub because it is always locked whenever I wanted to go there and the pool was closed while I was here because it is only open in summer. The walls are paper thin and I have loud young girls living next door to me who play the guitar at 3 in the morning and have to sing along to make it worse. The lady below me smokes and all of the smoke raises right into my "townhouse" and no matter how many times I talk to the management and they tell me they will do something about it nothing has been done- I wake up in the morning and on the third level of my place I can smell the stench of her smoke. It seems slightly overpriced considering that I was paying $1240 plus $55 for sewer/water. You can pay about $50 to rent a garage otherwise you might have to walk from one side of the complex to the other to park your car and hopefully you aren't disabled because there is always some jerk parked in not only the handicapped place but in the spot attached to it with the lines across it.

All of that aside. I love the size of my three bedroom place. I will sorely miss my massive walk-in closet and the cool intercom system linking all levels of the apartment. The kitchen is decent sized with a nice dishwasher and garbage disposal. It came with a washer and dryer in unit which was convenient. There are a lot of nearby stores and restaurants as well as a post office next door.

All in all, if you are lucky and get quiet neighbors and don't mind the stench of smokers it would be a pretty good place to live.
