Do not Let your eyes decieve you From: daisytiara Date posted: 12/5/2003 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003 1 response   We moved out of state to what we thought was a Newer, Nicer apartment. The staff may be extremely friendly, however dont fall for it. Mantinence is quick to respond, yet they seem as if they are reluctant to fix anything and always do a half-ass job. In the First month that we lived there, we had our mailboxes broken into, moved into an apartment that was never cleaned or painted, the door jam was warped so it was hard to close the door, the strike plate on our door handle didn't secure the door closed so our door would blow open unless we bolted the top lock, we were missing towel bars in the bathroom (the fixture was there..the "bar" wasnt) and the doorhandle to the closet was missing (oh and when maintience fixed it, they put in on backwards and then it was crooked.....Pretty sad for professionals. Needless to say i do not reccomend this apartment to anyone...Even if they say they'll fix it, the maintinence will show up.. do a crappy job and they think their done with you. Oh and one last thing.. if you move there...you CANNOT pick your cable television provider, you have to use Direct TV...then pay direct TV for your bill and then another company called Village Media so that you can use their Sattelites...So instead of a single $35 bill, you also have to pay 20 bucks so you can use the satelites. 50 bucks for TV' Oh and plan on having only one TV because each additional reciever is $100 on top of that. Only one is provided for you. Oh and there is no DSL access thru your phone provider...you have to use an outside source....(which they failed to mention as well.) Run while you can...there are far better places that i lived than there. Trust me---it's not worth the headache.
