I am writing as a resident who lived in these apartments for two years (July 2005-August 2007).

I would have to say that for the price these apartments were great. I rented a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 1000sq. foot apartment for $750 a month. You can imagine my sadness when I had to move up to North Seattle for work, where I know pay $1100 a month for pretty much the same apartment.

Scott Mountain by the Brook apartments are very spacious, have a huge master bedroom with a very nice walk-in closet. Parking can be a little bit of a problem if you have two cars, but I could usually find a space within 300-500 feet from my apartment.

I had a couple of maintenance issues (old garbage disposal broke and I broke my toilet), but these were replaced within 24 hours AT NO CHARGE!

Utilities were fairly cheap....About $40/mo for power and $30/mo for Water, Sewer, Garbage.

I am also writing such a positive review because I just received my FULL security deposit back PLUS MORE. My security deposit was $750 (it was only this high because my roommate didnt have a prior rental history). I got that back PLUS $109 back because I moved out a week before the month ended.....they REFUNDED my week's rent...I think that is probably pretty rare. The only thing I got charged for was $55 for carpets, which was understandable because I left quite a few stains. I had small screw holes in the walls that I just left and was not even charged for those.

Sure the noise of neighbors was somewhat loud at times, but it is an apartment community...it is bound to happen.

I would recommend these to ANYONE who is reasonable!

I was more than pleased with my experience at Scott Mountain by the Brook.
