DO NOT move to this apartment

The management sucks!!

When we just moved in this place, the laundry room was supposed to open at 8am, because the janitor was lazy to get up to open the laundry room, they changed the open time to 9am, BUT still, he couldn't get up to open the door at 9am, so he changed the door luck and gave all renters a key to access the laundry room. At that time, he was living in the apartment right next to the laundry room. Don't know what was his position, during his personal time, he was drinking in the most nights and finially he got fired for some reasons. In January 2009, someone kept the laundry room door opened and strong wind blew down the door. From 1/19/09 to 1/23/09, they only opened the laundry room during the office hours (9am - 5pm), at that weekend, laundry room was closed due to their late, poor management. Most renters are working during weekdays, when they came home, it's after 5pm, so they can't do laundry after work or on weekend, they have to either walk about 3 blocks away to another laundry places because most of them don't have a car.

They came to inspect the apartment "quite" often but after the inspection, there was no action to fix whatever they found at the inspection unless you had sent your work request again and again. One of our neighbor, she couldn't get her bathroom fan fixed for more than 6 months until she called Portland office to enforce them. This neighbor was thinking to move out this place but her situation is not that easy to spend time and money.

Most of renters are Mexican and they played LOUD music on weekend. In summer, you will see a lot of ice cream wrap paper or junk foods papges around the ground. Most of renters leave their kids without adult's attention, you won't want your kids to grow up in this kind of environment if you have choice.

The policy says no pets but some renters still have cats living in their apartments and some of them got to keep cats because they have Doctor's paper. ''

The playground is nesty, we had found fleas at the playground.
