I recently moved out, thank god I only had a six month lease. Shadow Hills is an awful place to live. People would always park in my parking spot, and when I called management, they would say that there was nothing they could do. Always heard parties going on and even called the cops once when it got too ridiculous. I think the people who lived above me were on drugs or something because they were ALWAYS stomping around in the middle of the night, and it would keep me awake at night. And, my roommates car got broken into once, and then attempted to get broken into the next night. Also, something was wrong with our dishwasher and it smelled like there was a dead animal in our wall and the management didn't do anything! And, we had rats and mice that would enjoy the trash that we kept under the sink, which was always a pleasant thing to hear little rats running around in your cupboards. Overall, it was a pretty horrible experience. And I just received a letter the other day saying that, in addition to them keeping our entire $500 deposit, we now owe them $1000 because they had to replace the carpet. It's ridiculous. So I urge you, do NOT live here.

I tried calling security to get a car, that was parked in my spot, but they told me that management didn't want then towing cars and I would have to call the tow company myself. At lest the security company offered to send someone out while I waited for the tow company, which is more then I can say for the management.
