I applied and was lied to by management as to availability. I got in to my surprise due to someone leaving shortly after moving in. I had no idea that they moved out because they had immediate issues with management. I just thought I was lucky. I was NOT lucky. I got in because people are figuring out just what sort of problems are arising. I applaud the sales staff. They really know how to sell a mutt as a purebred. The place looks great, all shiny and new. The location is convenient. The noise in the building is surprising since it was supposed to have all the extras built in to avoid sound issues. The plans for the neighborhood are to build not one but four new buildings on the immediate borders of the Sitka over the coming three or four years. The other three immediate locations are in negotiations for planned additional buildings. I guestimate that this area wont be quiet and pleasant until 2012. By then the Sitka will be the same kind of inner city slum building that The Village at Lovejoy Fountain or Lovejoy Station or Pearl Court Apartments currently are. All of which are in the immediate area.
My mother use to say something about saving money. "Your not saving if you have to buy twice." Sitka is a perfect example of this.
