charge you a lot when you move out From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/24/2004 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004   When I moved out of the apartment, they charged me $150 even if I spent 3 hours in scrubbing the apartment. When I first moved in, they charged me $100 for move-in fee which is for cleaning the apartment. They charged me again for cleaning when I moved out. They will charge next tenant another cleaning fee when they move in. These are double charges for single cleaning. They said that every tenant gets charged for $65 of carpet cleaning when tenants move out. NOBODY is exempt. Therefore, don't expect to get your deposit back and prepare to pay more when you move out.
