Excellent Choice

Location is excellent. Though it says Portland in the address the location is bordering beaverton, bethany and oak hills (excellent neighborhoods for raising families).
Management cares about the apartment. They constantly paint, pave, cut grass and maintain the luxury feeling of the apartment. Work orders are promptly fulfilled. Ground floor apartments have nice patio. If you get a corner unit it will be as if you have your own town house (but does have its problems).
The apartments are cozy and comfortable. Lots of middle-income families working in Intel or Nike or those who work in Down Town (Freight Liner) live here.
Now the bad parts,
1)Electricity bill will be very high in winter if you are in one of the corner ground floor units. It will be high for all other units.
2)Ground floor units suffer from squeaky ceiling whenever some one walks upstairs.
3)Blocks 1 & 2 have parking issues. Some of the spots for those two blocks are too small that only geo metros can be parked. No guest parking (can park in the lane leading to the apartment main entrance).
4)Those near to US-26 ramp are extremely noisy. You will get a good price break but it is not worth that kind of noise.
5)Pool is supposed to be cleaned once a week at times it remains unclean for a couple of weeks.
Recommendation: If possible live in the upper floor.
