Lived here for 6 months and had no problems at all. Maintenance was very quick and fixed things as soon as we told them there was a problem. Prices are going up and frankly the remodeled versions aren't worth it. All they did was paint the cabinets and doors white instead of leaving them the brown color they originally are. Floor plans are great and we had plenty of room for two couches in the living room.
Parking is amazing here, there was never a problem getting an open spot right in front of our unit and there were about 10 spots within 15 feet that were always free. These apartments are old and they did a bad job putting the units together. Our bedroom wall was right against out neighbors bedroom wall. The walls are very thin and we could hear everything from above and the side of us. It was nice to have the washer/dryer in the unit but it was the half-size which frankly might not be worth it. You can only wash a few things at a time and the cost of water is a lot. Our utilities were always ridiculous. They quoted something like $35/month but our water/sewage was like $60-$70 and PGE was usually $100 - $170.
So, overall it was a great first apartment but I think there are options out there that might be more worth the money.
The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. You cannot hear or see the freeway at all. It feels like you have more of a home than an apartment because of all the trees and grass. Very spacious. It is also a very convenient location as it is close to lots of shopping and many grocery stores.
