Basically, the ladies at the office feel that they are so far above their tenants they believe they can lie to them, bully and manipulate them. We were assured time and time again by the management that our apartment would be quiet. Our lease states that we shouldn't be able to hear anyone else's noise from our apartment. This place is built so shabbily that we can hear not only loud tv's and stereos turned way up, we can also hear normal conversations, people stomping up and down stairs, slamming doors so hard that our walls shake. No one in the office has EVER acted as though they respected our needs, trying desperately to make us feel as though we are the ones with the problems. TPM however (the bigwigs who are these incompentent ladies' bosses) are considerate, sympathetic, and quick to respond. The ladies in the office will boldly lie and tell you they'll take care of a problem, and then do NOTHING about it. If you want to re-visit your college days and live in dorm-like settings, this place is for you. If you are a grown up who needs to sleep early on a Tuesday night, move somewhere else. This place is is a repulsive joke.

Lived here?

I wonder what part of the complex this person lived in? NEVER have I heard slamming doors, have walls shake, or heard running up and down the stairs in the year and a half I've lived here. In fact, it's so quiet and so rare that I even see any neighbors in the hallways that visitors to my apartment often ask me "does anyone else even live here?" I think it definitely depends on which building you live in. Some seem to have more of a party atmosphere while most people I've come across in my building are quiet, middle-aged professionals. Office girls have always been helpful and polite. Never have seem them suffer from an attitude problem of any sort. I used to be in the corporate housing business and worked with countless apartment communities across the country and this staff is definitely above average. I'd vouch for them anyday!

I must live in one of the noisy building as well because I have to agree with this post. The noise is unbearable! It is like living in a dorm and the office staff do nothing about it.
