Great Place But Pricey

I have lived at The Frank Estate for almost a year. This is a beautiful property and I have been very lucky to have good neighbors. I have to say that it is the nicest apartment I have ever lived in and it is much nicer and quieter than the home and the condo I previously owned. I have a one bedroom loft with a nice view. The cabinets are a little dated but other than that the place is almost perfect. I really have no complaints about the apartment itself or my very nice and quiet neighbors. All of that said, I have heard from some other folks that they can hear their neighbors on a regular basis so I guess it really depends on what your neighbors are like. The walls really are thin afterall! I have decided to move at the end of my lease because my expenses have gone up and my salary hasn't. Here at the Frank Estate the water and sewer have gone up quite a bit. I was paying $5.00 per month for garbage and about $30 per month for water and sewer. The new owners/management company just raised it to a total of about $49.00 per month for an increase of $14.00 for water/sewer/garbage. I have also seen online that they are raising the rents quite a bit although they are updating the apartments. All in all this is a great place to live if you can afford it and you have great neighbors.

Amazing, because everyone else I've talked to thinks otherwise! And this person is lucky because I can hear my neighbors TV plus other things sometimes. There was also two days where I was woken up at 6:30am (no joke or exaggeration)but hammers and loud machines by the construction/landscaping crew working right at my window. How disrespectful it was, I opened my blinds and there they were talking and working so early! Rude, and I asked management if they could do something about it (working at 9 or 10am instead)... nothing happened though, I was woken again the next morning. I'm paying for some peace and quiet, but instead I can hear EVERYTHING that is said outside my window and a little through the walls... I've also had situations where the management got frustrated at explaining the bills and yelled, I'm disappointed in the Frank Estates, and the sad thing is I could go on about other problems, but this is your review. At least this place is nice for someone! Good Luck with this place, I'll be moving out in May! |
