OK, the last post sounds more like someone who works there posting an advertisement. I spoke with some of the workers there the other day. They are grossly underpaid and overworked since that HSC took over. I know everyone thinks that about their jobs at times.
They've also started to charge for the use of the common meeting rooms which was never done before. They charge a ton in rent and now are starting to nickle and dime the residence as well. I used to go down their to study all the time because it was quite and you'd bump into people now and again and strike up conversations. Now, I guess I have to pay to study in that room. I wonder when they're going to start charging to use the grills in the common area or they stick out a tip jar on the concierge desk.

Hey, I wrote that good review, and I am a tenant in the building (and I don't work there). Since when does saying I like where I live make it an "advertisement"? I love living in the Pearl, it's way nicer than where we lived in Boston. And I think people are being unfair to the new onsite staff.

I am the current Manager of the Louisa and I am not sure who you are getting your information from in regards to our pay, hours and increases to our tenants and rates; we do not and have not charged anyone to use the common areas since the management transition. If you wish to reserve it or use them on your own time, you are welcome to do so at no charge. We want everyone to enjoy the Louisa and have worked to enhance the amenities offered and have even began brewing fresh Peete's coffee daily. Your feedback is welcome but please do not make false postings regarding our pay, work ethics or misrepresent what we offer to the residents of the Louisa. The Louisa is a wonderful building and we enjoy making it an even greater place to live for all that have made it their home before and since we took over.
