I currently live here and have had the same exact problems and continue to have them. First, they never give you notification about renewing your lease when it is up. I had to go to them more than 5 times to ask them to send me a notice of renewal. They failed to do and on the last rent of my lease, I got the notice informing me that my rent has been raised by $150, no time for me to give 30 days notice. Management acted as if they were surprised that I had not received the renewal through my mail. Can you believe that' while they can just slide it under my door or put it in my mail box. This place is the loudest place that I have ever lived at. Walls are so thin in the "new" building that I can hear my neighbour's phone, alarm, I can hear him sneeze, whispering to his girlfriend, and it goes on..........When the tenants above my apartment start walking, it is like they are pounding the floor. The tow truck, oh Lord that I hate that tow truck. He comes in between 12am and 3am and could literally spend an hour trying to tow one car. He is so loud that he always wake me up. I have talked to him but he wouldn't listen. Called security and was told there is nothing they can do. There is always noise coming from somewhere, the pipes, the slamming of the doors, people on the balconies of the two building cross talking to each other in the middle night. Dirty place. Garbage compactor, oh my Lord!!! Problems never end.
After all of this, you might wonder why I still live here. The answer is simple: I go to graduate school at PSU and work few blocks away and do not own a car. Another reason, is that I never knew of this problems till I moved in. The place from the outside looks nice that you will not realize what is going on.
In addition, if you know that you have a package from FedEx or UPS, you have to go to the Office and tell them that you were expecting so they can give it to you. Because they never let you know that they have your package.
Please if you haven't moved in, I beg you, DO NOT.

Have you ever stopped to think that perhaps it is ILLEGAL for someone to "slip something in your mailbox?" Maybe if something has been mailed to you and it never shows up, you should BLAME THE POSTAL SERVICE!!! Maybe the office is attempting to show some professionalism by mailing you notices rather than just shoving something under you door. Grow up! Also, is it really the responsibility of the office to notify you when you have a package? Or have you perhaps thought outside of the box and realized that maybe it is the CARRIER OF YOUR PACKAGE that needs to be informing you when you have something waiting for you. It seems to me like it is a convenience offered to you for the office to assume the responsibility of holding your package until you bother to go pick it up. As for the tow trucks, which I KNOW are loud and obnoxious, would you rather have no place to park because outsiders know that they can park here risk free? Why don't you move to college housing?

Everyone blaims everyone else for their one short commings. He is the one that says that its this small because i just got out of the pool. The funny part is his shorts are still dry!!! B.T.w you now know of the problems and you still renew with all of the apartments in downtown........i think someone did not pay their rent...
